Coaching is a conversation with an outcome. It occurs within a confidential relationship between a coach and client whereby the coach uses non directive guiding conversation techniques to support the client to find their own answers to move them from where they are now to where they want to be.
It is different to mentoring as the expert in the coaching relationship is the client. And while feelings may be explored, coaching does not focus on these as a counselling relationship might.
It requires being open to change, accepting that change usually requires stepping outside of our comfort zones and giving permission to the coaching to challenge in a supportive way.
It also requires 100% commitment from both the coach and client. Coaching works best for those issues that you have control over and can help with many areas of life including the areas in which I specialise.
I will support you to navigate the challenges that life brings to women later in life such as a loss in confidence, menopause symptoms, disturbed sleep and a possible late diagnosis of a neurodiversity (as typically older women may not have been diagnosed as a child as it was once an area only thought to effect boys) and find solutions and approaches that result in greater wellbeing and contentment.
